        Verdict

        A winner at Wolverhampton, San Rafael failed to cope under a penalty at the same track last time though still finished in front of Cedar Cage. REEHAAM returns to action having made his debut at Ascot in July when fourth behind subsequent Rockfel Stakes third Cloak Of Spirits. Both placed horses have won since and John Gosden’s filly gets the vote on that form ahead of stablemate and newcomer Thebian. The latter is preferred by Jim Crowley to last month’s Newmarket fifth Huwaiteb while Joseph O’Brien sends Choice Of Mine over from Ireland and the latter is another newcomer to note.
