Mick‘s Spirit won here before finishing behind DIOMED SPIRIT over course and distance. The latter won with plenty in hand and a hat-trick looks on the cards. Star Of Lady M scored easily over a longer trip at Lingfield but is upped 7lb while Holkham Bay’s earlier win at Kempton came over a longer trip and he finished behind runner-up Alexi Boy on his latest start.
