        Verdict

        ARLECCHINO’S ARC gets a token vote in a weak affair. A runner-up over 1m4f at Kempton last week, he’s won three times over track and trip in the past. Blairlogie has finished closer here since dropping down to this lowly level but Jeanette May’s best efforts have been over a mile so far. Henry Croft is fitted with headgear having tumbled down the weights and Mrs Benson has won once in 36 attempts.
