    Verdict

EL HOMBRE has been threatening to take advantage of a slide down the weights and finished ahead of Merhoob at Lingfield before finding one too good at Wolverhampton. He can return to winning ways in this lower grade sprint and confirm latest running with Diamond Dougal. Excellent George was narrowly beaten in a claimer at Kempton last time but Spirit Of May is back on a winning mark for the first time since landing a course and distance double at the end of 2019 and makes more appeal.
