Verdict
Valid Reason carries 6lb extra for Tuesday's win over 2m at Lingfield where he made all. He makes less appeal than Born To Reign dropping back in trip given the latter beat Black Iceman here back in February. Oakbank also needs further while Layline is capable at this level but unreliable. Noguchi does his winning in plating company nowadays so GIOS LAST (NAP) looks to have every chance of adding to his earlier three wins on the all-weather having placed in better company than this at Lingfield last time.
