        Verdict

        MIDFIELD (NAP) had shown little before stepping up to 2m at Lingfield last week where she stayed on powerfully to land the spoils. She may not be ideally suited by dropping back in trip and carries a penalty but she looks one to follow now she's found her form. Affair has won twice around here and, though she hasn't been in the best of form, she's only 1lb higher than her last victory. Cinzento has also won here and also at Kempton and his latest poor efforts came on Turf while the once-useful Great Hall is searching for his 10th victory, the latest coming in April 2018 from a 44lb higher mark.
