Verdict

Captain Jameson was engaged in the 5.00 at York yesterday. Classic Pursuit completed a hat-trick in Class 5 handicaps on Turf before finding this level and 6lb extra just beyond him at Doncaster. He's won over 5f here so the track won't be a problem. Bosham won a similar grade handicap over the course and distance in May and is only 4lb higher, though he's run poorly in his last two starts. Merhoob has also won around here and only just failed to score at this level at Yarmouth before well beaten in the Stewards' Cup. Dubai One ran very well in a higher-class fillies' handicap here last month but MISSY MISCHIEF looks to have the scope to go on to better things. She was returning from a very long break when landing a novices' event at Doncaster last month and makes her handicap debut from what could prove a lenient mark.
