Exceeding Power drops back down in class but has had plenty of chances now and SPIRITUAL STAR is preferred. The latter was winning off a much higher mark last year and looks set to go close again after a second at Kempton. Russian Reward finished in front of Consulting when runner-up over 7f last time while Pivotman’s recent win at Nottingham came over 1m2f and he’s rated 9lb higher back on this surface. Graceful James has slipped down the weights and could go well after placing here.
