In depth

Verdict

Green Door was racing off 82 last summer and had dropped 9lb when just hanging on in a Lingfield handicap last month. But TONE THE BARONE, twice a winner on Turf, made a successful all-weather debut here on Friday when eased right down for a six-length victory. He's up 5lb but is likely to be hit with a bigger rise when reassessed. Moveonup landed a course and distance maiden in a first-time visor then put a moderate run at Southwell behind him when making all and staying on strongly back there. He's an obvious threat while It Must Be Faith is well capable of a big run from this lowly mark and his regular partner's claim is a bonus.
