Verdict
Plenty with a shout though Martineo and Young John recorded their recent placed efforts over a longer trip. Spirit Of May beat the re-opposing Sandridge Lad only a neck when scoring over track and trip and is upped 3lb while REVOLUTIONISE has placed in both subsequent outings since winning at Kempton. But he’s left Roger Varian’s yard since and the change of scenery and today’s first-time tongue-tie may see Stuart Williams’ new charge back to winning ways. Eye Of The Water remains 8lb higher than when a landing a double during the summer but Cockney Hill has plenty of scope back over his winning trip on his handicap debut.
