In depth
Verdict
HILL HOLLOW looks to have the strongest form of these though over the shorter trip of a mile. A chance is taken David Simcock’s charge stays extra distance having finished fourth behind the progressive Desert Caravan at Newcastle last time. He’s preferred to stablemate Al Thoorayah and the more exposed Fronsac, who finished fourth over 7f at Kempton in October. Mizuki was still well beaten when third at Windsor last summer and Engrave was beaten eight lengths when runner-up over track and trip in November but Lep has finished closer than that in a couple of starts at Lingfield and may get involved.
