In depth

Verdict

CRANTOCK BAY comes out best at the weights. Narrowly beaten over 7f at Newcastle the last twice now, he gets another chance back over this shorter trip. Morlaix is next best on these terms though hasn’t raced since 2019 and also drops down in distance while Shecandoo finished runner-up at Lingfield when last in maiden company and can confirm running with The Sunday Club. Presumptuous showed no improvement for the application of a tongue-tie last time and Power Over Me debuts for new connections.
