Verdict
Tolstoy won easily at Brighton recently but was due to race at Southwell yesterday. Justcallmepete has been raised 5lb for winning over track and trip a fortnight ago while Open Mind returns to this shorter trip representing last year’s winning yard. River Pride’s earlier win at Wolverhampton came over 7f but this can go to BATAL DUBAI (NAP). The latter has won twice at Newcastle including a tougher Class 2 sprint in July and is only 2lb higher as he debuts on the Polytrack.
