In depth

Verdict

Wonder Legend failed to cope with a hike in the weights at Ascot last time albeit in a tougher race than this. Mighty River also faced a more difficult task at Newmarket last month while GREATGADIAN (NAP) has been competing over a mile on Turf since beaten a length in Class 2 company here back in March. He’s 9lb lower today and should be bang there at the finish. Imperial Ace has a bit to prove over this far and Paris Lights is preferred while both the latter’s stablemate Diamond Ranger and the Godolphin runner Return To Dubai make a belated return to action.
