Verdict
Rated 87, CALIFORNIA LOVE has been competing in Pattern races since scoring at Newmarket in July and can defy a penalty in this lower grade. Times Past finished closer at Kempton last time despite managing only seventh and is preferred to the more exposed Hawayel and Sirinapha may have improved since unseating at Salisbury back in June. Wallaa is related to a winner in Germany but fellow newcomer Burning Topic is a half-sister to a host of winners including a Group 2 winner in France and is also preferred to Hold On Now.
