In depth

Verdict

Rated 80, ESCAPE THE CITY went close when third over 7f at Wolverhampton. She should stay this extra distance on that evidence and is taken to defy a penalty for an earlier success at Redcar. Newcastle runner-up Angelina D'or should give a good account and Paddy The Chef showed some ability when fourth at Kempton on his debut. Sir Hamilton made his introduction in a tougher contest at Newmarket and is preferred to the newcomer Knight Errant.
