      Verdict

ZEALOT has won six of only eight starts for his current yard and Billy Loughnane has been on board for his last two victories at Newcastle. He looks worth sticking with despite a further rise in the weights. Diderot’s previous efforts over this far failed to convince and First Officer looks a bigger threat returning to today’s trip. Oh Herberts Reign has plenty to find with the selection and Gloucestershire returns to action having yet to win a handicap.
