In depth

Verdict

Rated 80, Fast Medicine sets the standard having placed again at Brighton last time but SMASH HIT finished clear of the rest, including Almoshahar, when third at Newmarket recently and that form looks solid enough with the winner landing a handicap subsequently. Perfect Winter has been off the track since finishing runner-up at Kempton back in 2019 so Joe Proud may prove best of the rest with a last month’s outing at Lingfield under his belt.
