      Verdict

      OBLONG SONG faced a much more difficult task when well beaten at Sandown on her reappearance. It’s too soon to write her off given she went close at Nottingham last year and Roger Varian’s filly gets another chance in this. The latter is weighted to beat Atlantis Blue and Tahasun with the former preferred of that pair on a second over track and trip while Greenscape can do better over this extra distance. Fine China looks a newcomer to keep an eye on.
