      Verdict

      Illya Kuryakin returned an easy winner on his debut on the Fibresand at Southwell and it remains to be seen if he can repeat that form on this surface. Fire In Babylon was along way behind Mr Fickle when second over track and trip last time and ATALAN was eased down when his chance had gone with the winner, Duke Street, over course and distance last month. The latter gets another chance in this with Goldan Jess 4lb higher than his latest win on the Flat and Dr Finley having his first start of the year.
