      Verdict

      SURREY BLAZE was having his first start since August having been gelded in the interim when winning at Wolverhampton on his handicap debut. The manner of that success suggests this extra distance will suit and Joseph Tuite’s charge can go in again and confirm running with Headwear in the process. The latter looks the main danger given the lack of worthwhile form provided by the remainder, though both Garsington and Forricherforpoorer may improve now handicapping.
