        Verdict

        AWE came good over today’s trip at Redcar recently and is taken to defy a penalty given today’s modest opposition and the Haggas yard’s good strike rate at the track. Karnavaal showed some improvement at Newmarket last time without threatening and Jim Crowley sticks with the latter rather than the newcomer Baasem while Scat King finished closer at Wolverhampton recently and drops down in trip today. Patronus looks nothing out of the ordinary on breeding and the remainder are hard to recommend.
