    Verdict

VERIFY posted a better effort when third over track and trip recently and drops down a grade for this. He should go close and is preferred to the unexposed El Salvaje, who will be sharper for last month’s comeback run and handicap debut at Wolverhampton and may well reverse running with third-placed Alianne. Glen Esk was less than convincing attempting today’s trip for the first time at Windsor, though it was soft going on that occasion, but Derry Boy will appreciate this return to 1m2f.
