      Verdict

      There is little between DASHING RAT and Open Mind on these terms as both return from lengthy absences. The former is preferred over today’s trip on last year’s placed efforts, though the latter has been gelded. Kitaab debuts for a new yard on his return having also been gelded but Phinow hasn’t raced since last summer and the newcomer Zero Carbon is out of a winner over a mile.
