In depth
Verdict
Zabaletaswansong finished well ahead of Barbarianatthegate when runner-up at Windsor, though never threatened the winner. Alifax finished a lot closer at Salisbury last week while Uther Pendragon steps up from 5f but a newcomer may prove good enough in this. Both Gemologist and Neverbeen To Paris are worthy of a second glance but the half-sister of CAPLA TEMPTRESS won over today’s distance as a two-year-old so Marco Botti’s filly gets the speculative vote.
