Verdict
BERTIE BLU BOY is in the form of his life at present. Three of his four recent victories have been at this venue including his latest over track and trip in a higher grade sprint and he is taken to confirm running with Desert Strike and Arctic Lynx. Wolverhampton winner Stocking was expected to do better when sent off favourite at Haydock last time while Excellent George has been competing in better company since winning his maiden on the all-weather. Picansort could bounce back at any time off his current mark but Extreme Supreme has yet to win away from Southwell.
