In depth

Verdict

Raaeb tries his luck in a handicap having come up short in Listed company and finishing behind SHIMMERING DAWN at Wolverhampton. The latter also failed to figure on that occasion but was beaten only a neck at the subsequent All-Weather Championships and James Tate’s mare won off today’s mark over course and distance when last competing in a handicap. Breath Of Joy returns to action 8lb higher than when last successful and the remainder also make their seasonal debuts with a bit to prove off their current marks.
