CANTERBURY QUAD posted her best effort so far stepped up to today’s distance at Nottingham for her handicap debut. Clear of the rest in third, Henry Spiller’s filly can open her account in this. Miss Fay has been thereabouts in both starts over 7f so far and this longer trip should suit. She sports a visor for the first time and is preferred to Distant, who made only a modest debut over 1m4f at Kempton. Lewinsky is a half-sister to a couple of winners and preferred to Lady Macha of the newcomers.
