      Verdict

Catan got off the mark with a victory at Ffos Las recently and the filly Querelle won at Kempton on her latest start. Both are penalised today which should hand the advantage to BARYS. The latter finished a close-up fourth in a Class 2 maiden race when stepped up to today’s trip at York and that also looks stronger form than the debut effort of Fintas at Wolverhampton. Global Heat cost 325,000gns as a half-brother to a Group 3 winner and is preferred to Give Me Breath and Mythical Tribe of the newcomers.
