        Verdict

        Captain Howse is penalised 6lb for a hard-fought victory over slightly further at Wolverhampton where he made most. He'll be receiving 7lb from CITY VAULTS, also penalised for scoring over 1m6f at Redcar, but the latter looked to have a ton up his sleeve and can concede weight all round and complete a double. Bird For Life is on a long losing run but she's managed to win eight times and from higher marks than this while Copperplate has improved since stepping up in trip, scoring over 1m4f at Ffos Las and finishing runner-up over 1m6f here.
