Alpha Cru went close in a similar contest over track and trip a fortnight ago but DOUBLE TIME (NAP) has more scope. The latter refused to settle at Kempton but still found enough to get his head in front and can defy a 2lb rise. Almaan finished behind the selection at Kempton but Aristobulus posted a better effort at the latter track last time. Free Solo finished closer at Southwell having tumbled down the weights and is preferred to Secret Glow.
