In depth

Verdict

Quiet Warrior’s bid for a hat-trick failed when beaten at Newcastle off today’s mark. Jack The Laird’s recent placed effort at Wolverhampton came over 5f while Hidden Gem went close here last month only to disappoint on her latest start. Athletic looks no nearer to ending a long losing run but ROSIE CROWE was ahead of Limerick Lord when beaten less than a length over track and trip last time and it could be her turn again today having won here in October.
