      Verdict

      Mountain Song finished just ahead of stablemate ETERNAL HOPE when that pair filled the places at Wolverhampton last time. Harry Davies takes over the reins on the latter and his 3lb allowance may swing things the way of his mount. The Gosdens’ also run a couple of likely improvers with Midsummer Dance having the more recent form than Glowing Sky while Rae Guest is another doubly represented with Grand Duchess Olga preferred to fellow newcomer Afloat.
