      Verdict

      MEZZOTINT'S two victories at the end of last year came over this course and distance and Lee Carter's seven-year-old can make a winning reappearance as he's been successful off higher marks than this in the past. Brian Ellison doesn't have many runners here so last month's Redcar third Italian Beauty is interesting, though is still 5lb higher than when scoring at Epsom last summer. Taper Tantrum didn't manage a win last year and still looks a shade high in the weights, though should make the frame. Classical Rose looks the pick of the remainder.
