        Verdict

        CRIMSON SAND finished in front of Ahlawi when runner-up here last time having won over course and distance before that. Richard Hughes’ charge should be bang there at the finish again. Toussarok won here last month though wasn’t at his best at Newmarket a week ago but both Nigel Nott and Open Wide drop down in class with a shout and are preferred to Lion Ring and Garth Rockett in this grade.
