She was beaten less than a length when third over 7f at Newmarket on her racecourse debut and Arctic Ocean could only manage a modest seventh in the other division of the same maiden. Both are preferred to The Meter while Shamkha makes most appeal of the newcomers. She’s a half-sister to winning two-year-old Geesala, who has landed a Listed contest, while Sweet Dreamer is related to a 6f winner and preferred to Spirit Of Lucerne.
