        Verdict

        Balgair scored over track and trip with Pactolus behind last month while Wimpole Hall won a lower grade contest here last time. Jenson Benson was successful over a mile at the track and Gold Wing went close over the same trip here. Godolphin also run Newcastle third Toromona but the latter finished behind HATHOOL in a novices race on that occasion and Mick Appleby’s charge is taken to confirm running on better terms now handicapping.
