        Verdict

        This doesn’t look as competitive as the first division, which should provide a clue with the running of Poppy May who split Olaudah and BILLYOAKES at Wolverhampton last month. The latter gets a 5lb pull in the weights with Henry Candy’s gelding, who also has a wide draw, and is the only course and distance winner in the line-up. Spenny's Lass has run a couple of sound races here since the turn of the year but has a poor strike-rate, as does Mother of Dragons. Musselburgh second Arnoul Of Metz is much respected, however, racing off a winning mark.
