In depth
Verdict
Homespin won twice as a juvenile but has finished last in both starts this year. Protected Guest hasn’t been in the best of form either while El Ghazwani has changed stables and is much better treated on Turf. The others all have an absence to overcome and GIFTS OF GOLD (NAP) is making his all-weather debut and dropped in distance but he did win twice on Turf last summer over this sort of trip and runners from his yard rarely arrive at the track undercooked. Infrastructure needs much further while Gold Town debuts for a new stable and hasn’t raced since February 2019, though is a former Group 3 winner.
