A case can be made for most of these but it could pay to stick with FOREST MAIDEN. She followed up a maiden win at Kempton with an easy victory at Wolverhampton three weeks ago and can defy a hefty 10lb rise given the re-opposing Dark War has won subsequently. Flashy Memories made a winning start at Redcar in November and Yeenaan ended last year with a couple of wins in testing ground at Newbury and Windsor respectively. But Nottingham winner Maftoon returns to action off a 5lb higher mark and Oregon Gift was upped 7lb for his victory at Lingfield in November.
