SPEED MERCHANT joined Mick Appleby after winning a seller over today’s trip and went in again upped to 7f at Kempton last week. There looks room for further improvement back over 6f and he’s taken to defy a penalty. Twice As Likely finished ahead of Qinwan when fourth at Kempton last time though Catechism has more scope but all three will need luck in-running from high draws. Last Date remains 7lb higher than when scoring over track and trip last month and The Blue Bower is preferred while Ivadream, Pretty Lady and Redzone may well improve now handicapping.
