      Verdict

      WINTER LIGHT is penalised for her Brighton victory but she's run very well in strong nurseries at Doncaster and Newmarket and can concede weight all round especially with her yard, who also run the newcomer Pretty Eyes, in such good form. Collect Call was thought good enough to run in a Sandown Listed contest, where she didn't run badly, but she couldn't hold the late thrust of Aldana over this track and trip last time. Congress Place made a promising debut in that latter event but didn't show the expected improvement at Brighton a week later while The Galla Girl only won a Wolverhampton seller before her saddle slipped on this track next time.
