      Verdict

      The progressive Hammer Gun was due to run at Southwell yesterday and would carry a double penalty in this if successful. He beat LONDON (NAP) a neck over a mile here last time but the latter looks set for a return to winning ways having won off a higher mark when trained in Ireland last year. Space War went close over 6f here recently while Order Of Service just missed out at Southwell and Let's Twist found only one too good at Newcastle. Out Of The Ashes never looked like catching the winner when second at the latter track but Be Royale could go well back over 7f today.
