Verdict

After refusing at Huntingdon, Medermit wasn't entirely convincing at Plumpton last month and might be worth opposing here tackling a longer trip for the first time in his career. Reve De Sivola's cause was aided by the mishaps of others over C&D last time and he already looks ready for a step up to 3m. Along with Othermix, he had also finished behind Hell's Bay here previously, though Mr Thriller was still in contention when falling two out in that race and could go close today with a clear round. Cois Farraig has more to do than when winning at Newbury in November, but the mare Sway is improving fast and Sang Bleu is surely better than he showed at Newbury. But the one to beat may be MASTER OF THE HALL, who will have learned plenty from his Ascot win and has scope for further improvement.
