It could be dangerous to read too much into Pedrobob's defeat of Beef Or Salmon at Fairyhouse last month, but he is an improving individual and his case for support is a touch more compelling than those put forward by According To Pete and From Dawn To Dusk. The Paul Nicholls-trained Armariver heads the shortlist of others to bear in mind for future reference. Armariver was a very comfortable winner at Ascot a fortnight ago and, as the champion trainer's (Paul Nicholls) chosen representative, he has to be considered as a threat.
