Verdict

Breaking Waves ran a shocker last time at Plumpton but Groveman ran well for a long way at Listowel and looks to be coming to hand. Apple Rock is back over his best trip but returning from a break. Skatman made it 2-2 over timber at Newton Abbot last month and the runner-up won over fences at Bangor on Wednesday. He is running in his first handicap but due to go up 3lb from next week. Wincanton winner Neon Moon is also completely unexposed and The Wrekin is another with a chance despite only managing seventh in a Grade 3 handicap at Chepstow. AN TAILLIUR just keeps doing enough and Kevin Brogan can deliver him late again to complete the six-timer.
