Verdict
DOES HE KNOW stepped up on his victory at Ludlow when landing a Class 2 over course and distance three weeks ago. He does have a small penalty in this, however, and Grand Mogul was impressive at Chepstow. Wild Romance made a winning debut over timber at the same track and has scope but Petrastar couldn’t cope with the step up to this grade at the Welsh track having rattled up a hat-trick in minor company earlier. The Grand Visir is a useful stayer on the Flat but hasn’t so far transferred that form to jumping. Polish could be some value as he has proved reliable so far and did well to finish third over 3m here last time when his jumping was less than fluent.
