Verdict

LOUGH KENT has yet to win in this country but it could be his turn today if able to reproduce his last second at Newbury - Freddie Mitchell's 7lb claim will help his cause. San Benedeto had little to beat at Wincanton but is only a four-year-old so there should be plenty more to come while a big weight has no proved no obstacle to winning this in the last two years so the useful Kiama Bay is respected. Laser Blazer and Hurricane Hollow might be in the handicapper's grip, however, while Le Fin Bois and Benissimo need to improve to figure. Bowie is no forlorn hope, however.
