In depth

Verdict

Mole's Chamber represents a stable in top form and he gets the vote to win again at the main expense of Kia Kaha and Sendano. The selection comes here on the back of an impressive win at Newton Abbot and whilst the form doesn't look anything out of the ordinary, he looks sure to be suited by the uphill finish here. He is nicely-bred, being by Saddler's Hall out of a Strong Gale mare, and effective on any ground, a big run looks imminent. Kia Kaha looks a likely danger as he scored readily on his first try over hurdles at Uttoxeter and with his bumper form from last year looking solid, he must be high on anyones shortlist. Alamiyan won well last time out at Fairyhouse but has more on the plate here, so of more interest may be Warsaw Pact who has a good strike-rate in both codes. Sendani ran ok last time at the track and should be respected, whilst Mon Michel is consistent and could be on the premises although he doesn't always find much in front. An open contest in which many have claims, however it is Mole's Chamber.
