Verdict

Ashkazar is only a pound higher than when successful 12 months ago but threw the toys out of the pram at Ascot last time and has become increasingly difficult to predict. Midnight Chase loves it around here but this season's efforts suggest he's on a downward spiral while the trip might be a problem for Cedre Bleu. GALAXY ROCK took a heavy fall at The Festival that had serious repercussions for his rider but McCoy has ridden him twice to victory over these fences and he's only a couple of pounds higher than when just touched off by Balthazar King over 3m1f here in the autumn. Providing his confidence hasn't been affected, Jonjo O'Neill's nine-year-old could go close in this. Ludlow scorer What A Warrior and in the in-form Danimix should also be thereabouts but Chance Du Roy never figured at Aintree earlier this month and is best watched for now.
